Starting a new painting today, Aspin Trees. I love the feeling I get when  I take a white canvas and turn it into something beautiful. I am sitting in my art room painting, and now blogging. My son and my grandson went out back to go deer hunting. I live on 3.5 acres out in the country. I bought this place July 4, 2003. I have been here almost 10 yrs, I love it more each day. My grandson has lived here pretty much since the day he was born.  He is such a joy and brings so much love and sunshine to my world. He has a great sense of humor and he loves magic tricks. I learned a new magic trick yesterday, Criss Angel toothpick trick. I found it on line, and when I did the magic trick for my grandson he loved it. I had to teach it to him, and he just giggled the whole time he was learning it. He was so excited and could not wait to show his Daddy.  We put our Christmas tree up this week.

Overall

I spent 21 years as a computer programmer, working way to many hours everyday. I was the only programmer so I was on call 24/7, I did this for over 10 years. Now I have started a new chapter in my life. I am now retired and spend my days painting pictures and taking care of my 7 year old grandson. I love this chapter in my life so much that I decided  to start this blog, so I can share and also put this in writing so I never forget, even the smallest of things.
